#3 Dwornik's Game-Winner Gives UMF a Win over Husson After Epic Battle

University of Maine at Farmington men's soccer freshman Luke Dwornik (Newark, Del./Cab Calloway School of the Arts) chipped in the game-winning goal in the final seconds to lift the Beavers to a 1-0 shutout victory over Husson University on October 20, 2015.

With less than a minute remaining, UMF keeper Matt Wilson (Hamden, Conn./Hamden) lined a free kick to set up the offense. The kick was defended by Husson, but Tayoung Nuyepga (Framingham, Mass./Framingham) was able to control the ball after Husson knocked it away.

Nuyepga volleyed a pass into the box where Luke Dwornik slid and chipped a shot over Husson keeper Steven Paquette.

The victory snapped a four-game skid against Husson dating back to 2010.
