#1 Kylie Cunningham Has a Perfect Day at the Plate in Her Collegiate Debut

University of Maine at Farmington freshman Kylie Cunningham (Bangor, Maine/Bangor) had zero trouble adapting to the collegiate level by hitting 7-for-7 in a doubleheader split with the University of Maine at Presque Isle on March 12, 2016.

With the doubleheader held in the Mahaney Dome on the campus of the University of Maine in Orono, Cunningham stepped up to the plate in the first game and smacked four hits. She recorded her first-career triple while driving in three runs and crossing the plate twice.

In the second game, Cunningham added three more hits at the plate with a double and a run scored. The double proved to be timely as the Beavers produced three first inning runs.

After the 7-for-7 debut, Cunningham earned North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week and took home a Second Team All-Conference selection at season's end.
